Reed Wills
CEO and Founder
Reed brings over 35 years of expertise in the independent power industry, specializing in project development, acquisition and project finance. Reed has led multiple independent power teams, most recently as a co-founder of SunEast Development. SunEast has led the development of 1,000 MW of utility-scale solar projects poised to begin construction over the next two years.
Reed held leadership positions at Duke Energy Renewables and NRG, where he managed development teams responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing both renewable and thermal energy assets. His extensive experience also includes the development of 500 MW of industrial cogeneration projects and acquisition of 1,000 MW of utility assets in PJM East and 3,000 MW of utility assets in Southern California.
David Ross, P.E.
Chief Development Officer
Dave brings over 30 years of experience in the independent power industry specializing in site development, interconnection, project finance, as well as strategic assessment of markets. Dave has served as an officer of SunEast Development for the past eight years.
Before joining SunEast, he help the position of Manager of Business Development at Exelon, where he led development efforts for utility-scale electric generation projects, supported corporate acquisitions, and was a member of the Board of Directors for FutureGen. Prior to Exelon Dave was a key team member of teams at NRG Energy and the Sythe Energy team that acquired over 7,000 MW of projects in the Northeastern U.S.
Anthony Cirillo, P.E.
Sr. VP
Anthony brings over 35 years of project development and engineering-procurement-construction experience in the electric power generation and energy industries. He was responsible for the development and execution of independent power projects and electric utility power projects totaling over $2.5 billion.
Marcia Haas
Executive Director
Marcia brings over 30 years experience in both large and small organizations specializing in project management, interconnection coordination, and human capital. She is also the lead for community outreach and overall corporate communications.
Dave Hazel
Land and Permitting Lead
Dave brings over 15 years of renewable energy project and construction management experience. He leads the companies land origination, GIS and permitting efforts.
Jack Carpenter
Executive Director, Accounting
Jack brings over 30 years experience in accounting, corporate finance and financial planning and analysis.
Senior Consultants
Steve Meehan – a trusted power plant engineer at Duke Energy and its subsidiaries, Steve led the effort to improve efficiency at several thermal stations. Later in his career, Steve transitioned to fuel management and project development.
Kevin Foley – a seasoned industry veteran with extensive gas turbine operating experience. Kevin held senior management positions at United American Energy and Morris Energy.
Dave Palumbo – former senior manager of NRG’s world-wide construction program, Dave oversaw construction of over 5,000 MW of facilities using various technologies. He transitioned to development later in his career and focused on gas turbine plants and biogas engines and RNG.
Steve Simmons – lead engineer and general manager for solid fuel facilities in the Northeast early in his career. He transitioned to development leading biomass and advanced waste to energy projects. Steve is a leading authority on materials handling.
